Once a learned pundit came to the king Akbar’s court. He claimed to know many different languages. He showed his skill by speaking various languages very fluently. Then he challanged the courtiers including Akbar to tell his mother tongue, but no courtier could identify. Finally the task was entrusted to Birbal, the Akbar’s minister. Birbal ask to give one day.
At night when the pundit was sleeping, Birbal went to his room and teased in his ear. The pundit immidiately woke up in angry mood. He shouted at Birbal in a particular language. Birbal smiled and said “So my friend, you are a Tamilian (a resident of Tamilnadu state of India)?” The pundit admit that his native language is Tamil.
Moral: There is always more skillful people above you. Do not ever claim to be Single in a particular skill.
