A new vacuum cleaner salesman knocked on the door on the first house of the street. A tall lady answered the door.
Before she could speak, the enthusiastic salesman barged into the living room and opened a big black plastic bag and poured all the cow droppings onto the carpet.
“Madam, if I could not clean this up with the use of this new powerful Vacuum cleaner, I will EAT all this dung!” exclaimed the eager salesman.
“Do you need chilly sauce or ketchup with that” asked the lady.
The bewildered salesman asked, “Why, madam?”
“There’s no electricity in the house…” said
the lady.

Once PVNR (PV Narasimha Rao), L.K.Advani and Laloo Prasad Yadav were travelling in an autorickshaw. They met with an accident and all three of them died. Yama was waiting for this moment at the doorstep of death. He asks PVNR and Advani to go to HEAVEN. But, for Laloo, Yama had already decided that he should be sent to HELL. Laloo is not at all happy with this decision. He asks Yama as to why this discrimination is being made. All the three of them had served the public. Similarly, all took bribes, all misused public positions, etc. Then why the differential treatment?
He felt that there should be a formal test or an objective evaluation before a decision is made; and should not be just based on opinion or preconceived notions. Yama agrees to this and asks all the three of them to appear for an English test.
PVNR is asked to spell “INDIA” and he does it correctly.
Advani is asked to spell “ENGLAND” and he too passes.
It is Laloo’s turn and he is asked to spell “CZECHOSLOVAKIA“.
Laloo protests that he doesn’t know English. He says this is not fair and hat he was given a tough question and thus forced to fail with false intent.
Yama then agrees to conduct a written test in Hindi (to give another chance assuming that Laloo should at least feel that Hindi would provide an equal platform for all three).
PVNR is asked to write “KUTTA BOLA BHOW BHOW“. He writes it easily and passes.
Advani is asked to write “BILLY BOLI MYAUN MYAUN“. He too passes.
Laloo is asked to write “BANDAR BOLA GURRRRRR…..”
Tough one. He fails again. Laloo is extremely unhappy. Having been a student of history (which the other two weren’t), he now requested for all the 3 to be subjected to a test in history. Yama says ‘OK’, but this would be the last chance and that he would not take any more tests.
PVNR is asked: “When did India get Independence?”.
He replied “1947” and passed.
Advani is asked “How many people died during the independence struggle?”.
He gets nervous. Yama asked him to choose from 3 options: 100,000 or 200,000 or 300,000. Advani catches it and says 200,000 and passes.
It’s Laloo’s turn now. Yama asks him to give the Name and Address of each of the 200,000 who died in the struggle. Laloo accepts defeat and agrees to go to HELL.
Moral: “IF YOUR MANAGEMENT HAS DECIDED TO SCREW YOU, THERE IS JUST NO ESCAPE“
While studying management, students find theirself in a very ideal situation. They cannot imagine about real working environment and cirumstances. They cannot think about the problems they are going to face during their job.
In this era of cut throat competition every employer want effective and efficient employees for their organization. No one want that he/she have to prepare their personnels about the market trends. They do not waste their time to train their employee rather they want already trained employees for their establishments. It is therefore neccesary for every student to be prepare and aware about the latest trend of the market and the demand of time.
Moral: Life is not divided into semesters. You don’t get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time.
This time management story shows how planning is the key to time management.
Start with a bucket, some big rocks enough to fill it, some small stones, some sand and water.
Put the big rocks in the bucket – is it full?
Put the small stones in around the big rocks – is it full?
Put the sand in and give it a shake – is it full?
Put the water in. Now it’s full.
The point is: unless you put the big rocks in first, you won’t get them in at all.
Moral : Plan time-slots for your big issues before anything else, or the inevitable sand and water issues will fill up your days and you won’t fit the big issues in (a big issue doesn’t necessarily have to be a work task – it could be your child’s sports-day, or a holiday).
Very often people think that during their education they got very hard teachers. A boy also used to think like that. He considered their teachers very hard and cruel. As he grown up he gets a job in MNC. As he was a fresher to join that company, he usually threatened and coerced by his immediate boss on even small mistakes.
Then he remembered about their teachers and their teachings. He thought that their teachers were very kind to him in giving education and their behaviour was very polite even in most cases.
Moral: If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss
